EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

The TASSIM Executive Committee   consist of:

  • The Chairperson
  • The Vice-Chairperson
  • The Hon. Secretary
  • The Assistant Hon. Secretary
  • The Treasurer
  • The Assistant Treasurer
  • The Publicity Secretary
  • The Assistant Publicity Secretary
  • Four other members elected by the Association at the Annual General Meeting.

Members of the Executive Committee is elected by the Annual General Meeting of the Association and shall hold office for a period of three years.
The position of Chairperson and Vice Chairperson together with 4 members are elected by the General Meeting. All other practical and professional positions including research positions will be for recruitment.
The Executive Committee is the overall in charge of the management and the conduce of the affairs and business of the Association, including :

  • Formulate and plan the activities, programmes and projects of the Association;
  • Oversee to the proper and efficient use and management of the funds, property and other resources of the Association;
  • Cause to be established a Trust Fund for the purposes of the Association;
  • Make and publish Rules and Regulations of the Association;
  • Prepare the accounts of the Association and submit them for audit;

SECRETARIAT

The Secretariat of the Association is headed by an Executive Director (hereinafter referred to as the Chief Executive) appointed by the Executive Committee.
The CEO is supported by  Programme  Officer, Assistant Program Officer, Accountant, and Administrative Assistant.
The Central Executive Committee shall have the following responsibilities in accordance with this Constitution:

  • To be a body that manages and evaluates the day-to-day operations of the Association, including having strategies for the strengthening and improvement of productive work performance;
  • Collaborating closely with the Board of Trustees in discussing and agreeing on various practical matters;
  • Understanding and discussing the various challenges that arise between the members and providing them with solutions;
  • To create various Committees based on the needs of the Association in order to obtain the results of a productive performance.
